Tangens office furniture by Sára Kele presented at Maison & Objet


Dezeen showroom: presented at Maison & Objet, the Hungarian designer Sára Kele created Tangens, an office furniture collection that aims to combine the “comfort of a home office with the modularity required for the workspace”.


Tangents is part of a selection of products available at the French furniture and design fair House & Object.

The Tangens collection aims to combine the comfort of home with the modularity of a contemporary workspace.

The Tangens collection includes hard and stretched seating surfaces that have a raised seat height of a few centimeters, intended to support the user’s body and be comfortable for long periods of sitting.

“With almost endless possibilities of combinations, Tangens offers the possibility of perfectly adapting the furniture to any workplace,” said the brand.

The collection comes in a range of colors and textures. The material palette has been developed with the aim of helping the user’s concentration and being visually harmonious.

Each piece in the collection is made from sustainable materials, including textiles made from recycled PET bottles and woven wool.

Furniture can also be disassembled into pieces to facilitate future repairs, making it durable.
