Free Furniture Delivered to a Central Florida Mom for Giving Tuesday

ORLANDO, Florida – Thankful doesn’t even describe how Olivia feels.

The mother of three has been selected to come to The Mustard Seed of Central Florida, a furniture and clothing bank, to meet all kinds of household needs for her home free of charge.

“It was bad up the hill. It was hard. I am so thankful that I now have a place of my own for my children, ”said Olivia.

With the help of other sister companies, Olivia was able to choose exactly what she needed, such as appliances for her kitchen and a king-size bed. She was also able to collect some toys for her children.

“Typically we serve around 1,200 families a year and we’re definitely going to see this demand much higher as people find these places to live for many reasons they are starting over,” Kathy Baldwin, executive director of The Mustard Seed of Central says Florida.

To make things even more convenient, Olivia did not need to move, as volunteers stepped in and drove her items to her home as part of Mardi I Give.

” Do not abandon. Go ahead and get the resources that are there for us. Keep going, ”Olivia said.

The Central Florida Mustard Seed said two other families were also given the opportunity to select free furniture for their home on Tuesday.
